This website is operated by DIXIE RESERVE, LLC on behalf of itself and its affiliates. By visiting DixieReserve.com on desktop or mobile devices you are consenting than you are at least 18 years of age or monitored by a consenting adult.

Subject to these Terms, DIXIE RESERVE hereby grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the www.DixieReserve.com website on your computer or mobile device. You may not reproduce, modify, display, or otherwise make commercial use of any content from the DIXIE RESERVE website or affiliates unless expressly permitted by DIXIE RESERVE.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All images, graphics, original artwork, distinguishable slogans, and/or written content on www.DixieReserve.com exclusively belong to DIXIE RESERVE. You may not use any trademarks belonging to DIXIE RESERVE for commercial use without the expressed prior written consent of the aforementioned party. Any trademark violations will be prosecuted.

SHIPPING
MOST orders ship within 4-5 business days; however, occasional circumstances may prohibit this from happening. Such circumstances may include but are not limited to: holiday orders, weekend orders, orders after operating hours, back ordered stock, or website maintenance. Holiday orders may experience longer than usual delays and may be impacted by specific cutoff dates as advertised by the seller. DIXIE RESERVE is not responsible for customer compensation for delayed shipments. Orders not shipping within the standard window will ship promptly and customers will be notified at the time of shipment with tracking information.

DIXIE RESERVE is not responsible for the replacement of lost packages by the USPS. Such cases should be handled with the USPS by referring to the order tracking number as notified.

Refunds: Please contact DIXE RESERVE for any refund inquiries or by using the RETURNS tab. The cost of shipping paid by DIXIE RESERVE will be deducted from any refunded orders.
All lost items due to incorrect submission of a shipping address by a customer will not be replaced by DIXIE RESERVE. Lost packages will be handled on a case by case basis.

SOCIAL CONTENT PERMISSION
Any user uploading or sharing content to any forms of social media with the hashtag(s) #DixieReserve or #WearResponsibly hereby gives DIXIE RESERVE permission to use any images or likeness for it's own use. Any use of the aforementioned hashtag(s) certifies that you are at least 18 years of age.

PRIVACY
DIXIE RESERVE retains the right to collect the personal information from its customers as follows but not limited to: Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and Billing Information.

Any use of www.DixieReserve.com may allow DIXIE RESERVE to collect internet protocol (IP) address information to better suit your browsing experience.

DIXIE RESERVE and its affiliates will not share any information as collected with any outside parties.

GRANNY’S CHOCOLATE PIE RECIPE
We are an advocate of quality, timeless products. Such is my late Grann’ys quality chocolate pie recipe. Like most grandmother’s I believe she left out some details so that her true recipe was only known by her, but this is what I know and can share:
3 egg yolks
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of milk
Dash of vanilla
2 tablespoons of cocoa
1/2 stick of margarine
Salt (No measurements were included. Suggesting 1/4 tsp.)

”Partially cook mixed ingredients on stove, then bake in shell.” (You will need to eyeball this as Granny provided no specific times or oven temperature. Suggested 30-40 minutes at 350° or until pie is not wobbly when shaken.)

Granny’s pies were always topped with a thick meringue, but she neglected to provide her specific recipe as well. Here is a simple meringue:
4 large white eggs
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup of sugar

Separate egg whites. Whip the whites until glossy and smooth then add cream of tartar. Slowly add sugar about 1 tablespoon at a time while whipping. Remove hot pie from oven and add mixture to top of pie filling and continue baking until meringue is golden brown.
